LODESTAR LAKEHOUSE

ABOUT

ABOUT THE LAKEHOUSE

Located approximately 2 hours north of the GTA near Gravenhurst, the Lodestar Lakehouse is the perfect place for your family getaway. Your vacation begins as you exit the highway; a 20 minute scenic and winding drive through the hardwood forest of the Canadian Shield sets the stage for your time away.

Nestled deep within the woods, Lodestar Lakehouse has rustic charm with a retro vibe. First constructed in the 1960's and updated throughout the years, the 2 storey timber building has sleeping space for 8, accommodating up to 6 adults. The main floor boasts a spacious communal living area with an open concept kitchen and a 2 piece washroom. Adjoining the kitchen is the screened-in Muskoka room, perfect for games, relaxing, or dining in fresh air comfort. Upstairs you will find a 3 piece bathroom and 3 bedrooms. The bright and airy main bedroom features a king bed and private balcony. The bedroom across the hall is cozy and peaceful with a double bed and small lounge space. The sunny third bedroom sleeps up to 4 with a double bed and a single bed with optional guard and trundle.

Outside there is a multi-level deck with ample space for relaxing, a luxurious hot tub, and a fantastic view of tranquil Little Lake. A short path leads down from the deck to our private dock which sits centrally within our 500ft of waterfront. In addition to the motor-free lake we are fortunate to have a lot of outdoor space to explore-- the Lakehouse is surrounded by diverse woodland with granite outcrops, meadows, and a stream running through the property.

There is something truly magical about the Lodestar Lakehouse. Each time we visit we are amazed by the natural beauty and feel renewed by the peaceful surroundings. It is the ideal place to experience nature and the wonders of the night sky in a comfortable family setting. We love it here, and we hope you can appreciate it as much as we do!
